Sebastian, would you teach me to sew properly? I was able to modify a Bitter Rabbit back in Riverview but making one from scratch is beyond me.

It was late afternoon when he received the text on his phone. Sebastian was in his office, writing down in his ledger to keep track of his finances, notes on the staff, and of stock and making sure everything is accounted for. It was pretty much his downtime from the day's earlier chores.

Dolls do have wear and tear over time, and to make one from scratch by sewing takes a lot of coordination of fine motor skills and effort.

Nothing...? I know a place where we can the fabrics and stuffing, get beads and buttons, and get sewing supplies. I have a sewing machine in my room, which you can use and borrow to make the outfit.

[He's actually still quite useless when it comes to some things, that's how? He's trying!]

I wouldn't be taking you from anything, would I? I figured it may take me awhile so I just want to be able to do it by Christmas. Maybe sooner, since a sewing machine may help the process. [Not that he has any idea how to use one.]

No, not at all. I assure you, if I want to give you something, I'll happily give it. Also the sewing machine is effective in making the outfits for it's accuracy and precision. I'll show you how to use it once we get the materials.

[Aaaand in half an hour, Sebastian is totally taking him to the warehouse that resembles a build a bear workshop store (because honestly, why not?) While it's miles away from where they live, it's a short drive going there.]

Here we are. My goodness, they have a lot of stuffed animals for sale. But it looks like we're going to have to make it from scratch. Let's start by finding the stuffing and the fabrics, shall we? And beads and buttons for the eyes and outfit for the doll.

[He's a little slow to just accept it but he does. Even without the contract, Sebastian hasn't lied to him. Not yet at least and not in any way that he could say with any kind of certainty.

The warehouse is interesting, not what he'd expected. And a part of him can't help but huff a little at how easily produced these are while his Bitter Rabbits had been carefully monitored for quality.]

That's alright. I wanted to do it all myself, really. I thought if might have a little more meaning to it that way.
